永久脫毛 – Should It Be Cheaper Than This..

There are lots (and I mean lots) of at 永久脫毛 which personally I wasn’t drawn to. In terms of lasers and intense skincare treatments I am just one of those particular people who prefers to get a professional to work their magic on me, rather than trying to become one through getting a kit from my local pharmacy. I visited a clinic in my hometown that have recently opened for some treatments.

I visited about 2 sessions, but didn’t see any results – AT ALL. So, it absolutely was fair to express I wasn’t planning to waste any further money. Strike one. FYI – I understand those who have had treatments of IPL done (mainly all Asian/Indian kinds of skin) and that i have been told it requires plenty of sessions to see results. I are also told by my current laser technician (and head trainer & educator of Polaris Laser Hair Removal) that IPL will not focus on Indian skin and has short term benefits. It basically isn’t the best laser for very long term hair-free fuss.

Next time round, I decided to go for any YAG laser but to my luck, my technician had blagged her way into making me think she was doing me a favour. When in reality, her so named YAG laser was more of an IPL treatment then everything else. I notice you it made my hair a bit fainter, but nothing drastic – and i also had at least 6 sessions. Once more, I wasted not merely my time in travel but lots of money! Strike two.

Within the last 5 months approximately I actually have been seeing a lovely laser technician, who lucky to me, is based in the same county as me! I had told her all of the problems I actually have had previously with laser hair removal and she provided me with her honest and professional advice. She explained to me that IPL isn’t extremely effective (especially on Asian skin) for 永久脫毛. It functions whilst you will get it done but provide a year or so and you will see your the growth of hair coming back again. The penetration from the laser isn’t as deep and doesn’t focus on the hair follicle to the extent as being a YAG laser does.

I then explained the so-called YAG laser treatment I used to be getting before visiting her. That is when she did a little digging (in her own extra time) and informed me that I had been missold my laser treatment. The laser which I had been getting done was more much like IPL than a proper YAG laser. It had been even more of a diode – basically which means I wasn’t going to get exactly the same results has I might have with a proper or should I say real YAG laser!

She then explained all about her laser. The laser she uses will be the Long Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser by Polaris Medical. She actually is a professional educator/trainer for this laser and has been in the business for twenty years – she basically knows her shiz.

This laser can be used hair removal of hair on all skin types, light to dark. One of the primary advantages of this laser is the fact its melanin absorption is quite low. Melanin is exactly what gives the skin it’s colour. The greater melanin halbfl have, the darker the skin and the other way round. Because of it’s low absorption of this, there exists very little risk of the epidermis to obtain damaged by hyper/hypo pigmentation. Because of this the long pulsed Nd:Yag lasers is idea for for hair removal on medium to dark skin!

Pre-laser Treatment

I need to go with clean, lotion/potion free, makeup free, perfume/deoderant free and hair free. Yep, so that you have to shave in advance (everywhere you need to target!). This is so the laser can get to the folicle without any hair strands getting in the way.

I have learnt the tough way by accidentally having some perfume on my own neck and the laser burning my skin – luckily it wasn’t that bad (my Elizabeth Adren Eight Hour Cream sorted me out!). However, this really is common and may happen.

During Laser Treatment

Through the laser session, the part/s of your body are sectioned off (as you can see within the picture above). The 永久脫毛 can be used with the air-conditioning type cooling tube that is hovered over the area of the skin as it is getting lasered – this really is so that you don’t notice the heat. The sensation of getting this done is much like someone poking you having a needle. Depending on your pain threshold and/or the region you possibly will not feel it at all.
